I worked with Edda Schlager when I made a documentary for German Television in Kazakhstan. She has good connections in the administration and all over the country, so that we had a lot of good shooting experience with her. She knows the region of Middle Asia very well, speaks fluently Russian, German and English and has excellent connections to make things happen. We travelled 3000 kilometers by train, boat on the Aral Sea, SUV on desert roads, and she organized the trip very well. The region is complicated for foreign journalists, but she knew always a solution even for complicated situations. So I can recommend her very much.
