Edda fixed for us in both Kazakstan and Kyrgyzstan for a longer TV documentary on the Belt & Road Initiave. She was professional, diligent and a real asset to the team. I’d happily recommend her to other production crews seeking assistance in Central Asia.
I worked with Edda for the second time in Kazakhstan, and again everything was perfect. She guided us through the whole production process and organized interviews, shooting permits, transport, accommodation … everything worked out fine. She had lots of ideas on topics to cover, and she knows the political situation very well. Also, she has a good feeling how to convert an idea into a beautiful TV story, and she has lots of contacts.
I did work with Edda Schlager and my experience with her as a fixer was very, very good. We made a documentary about life next to the Aral Sea and she organized everything in detail as far as it was possible. Although she was not with us throughout the shoot, she did a great job beforehand. I can very much recommend her and would book her again anytime I’m in that area for further shoots.
